Otherwise, it changes the ad based on the content you offer. Similar to Amazon, if your visit a product, you get followed around with that ad. That is similar to dynamic product ads. 

 

Facebook recently offered a great stat, stating that people are spending most of their time on  mobile apps, like Facebook and Instagram, not internet browsers.  Last year, during the holidays,  56%  of in store sales were influenced by mobile.  Because of the wide mobile trend, Facebook has released their dynamic product ads to continue the trend.
