“Setting up Facebook’s New Lead Generation Campaigns”
In this episode, Amber walks us through how to setup Facebook’s new lead generation campaigns.if you haven’t heard, Facebook is making it easier for marketer to collect information with these new lead generation campaigns.
Here is how it works!
- These new style campaigns allow a user to use their pre registered email and name to auto fill-in of an opt-in
- Instead of sending your prospect to a landing page, you can collect their information and up to 3 questions
- This allow them to opt-in right from the news feed
- This new style streamlines the information gathering process and provides a real value to marketers
The steps to setting up a new lead generation campaign!
- Create a campaign in Power Editor
- From here add your headline and images - All the good stuff for a campaign
- Make sure you have a Call-to-Action button selected
- Make sure you create a Lead Form - This is the form the users will fill out from the news feed
- Next, you must have a privacy policy page including in these Ads
- Note that you can hide the privacy policy page on your website
- Next the settings will ask where you want to send your user after they have opted-in - This link should be directly to the e-book, report, or video you had advertised.
- Remember that you can only preview your ads in the mobile app!
- Now you can upload your ads from Power Editor to the Ads Manager for a preview in mobile or right from the Power Editor.
- Here is a cool feature - You can export your lead list as a CSV file, as soon as your ads start to take off!
