“How do you say thanks on Facebook?”

Here are a few great ideas!

  • Feature your fans in your cover photo -  Feature a testimonial to build trusts, or Do a fan of the week, and share why they won.

Here is how it works!

  • These new style campaigns allow a user to use their pre registered email and name to auto fill-in of an opt-in 
  • Instead of sending your prospect to a landing page, you can collect their information and up to 3 questions
  • This allow them to opt-in right from the news feed
  • This new style streamlines the information gathering process and provides a real value to marketers

The steps to setting up a new lead generation campaign!

  • Create a campaign in Power Editor
  • From here add your headline and images - All the good stuff for a campaign
  • Make sure you have a Call-to-Action button selected
  • Make sure you create a Lead Form - This is the form the users will fill out from the news feed
  • Next, you must have a privacy policy page including in these Ads 
  • Note that you can hide the privacy policy page on your website
  • Next the settings will ask where you want to send your user after they have opted-in - This link should be directly to the e-book, report, or video you had advertised. 
  • Remember that you can only preview your ads in the mobile app! 
  • Now you can upload your ads from Power Editor to the Ads Manager for a preview in mobile or right from the Power Editor.
  • Here is a cool feature - You can export your lead list as a CSV file, as soon as your ads start to take off!

Facebook found that a lot of brands use personal profiles to create events. However, they’re trying to have personal profiles to have personal events, and public profiles to have public events. 

  • New features to help this change along. 
  • A new announcement/notification at the top of the Facebook page
  • A little owl that says, “Get people to your events!”
  • A new website to the most out of your events: http://events.fb.com/public-events

This new site asks you to create custom events from the page rather than a profile.

To create an event:

  • Name your event - Give a short and sweet name
  • Add your location -  Make sure to tag your location 
  • Add a ticket link 
  • Give the details to the event
  • Pick an event photo - If you choose to use your own photo it may need to be to these specs,  1920X1080, 16:9 ratio, or larger
  • Engage attendees 
  • Share your event to your page
  • You can reach people with ads - Create a conversion pixel to track which ads work and who bought tickets
  • Tap into your attendees network -  This creates a storyline in Facebook, and shares with friends and family network

  • This will show you what people are viewing on your page
  • You can boost a post from this page (Not Recommended)
  • You can now search your posts
  • You can use this page to draft a post
  • You can schedule a post, and schedule a post to expire 

Another resourceful feature is being able to type in the search box to view everything you posted by keywords, and maybe delete or removing specific posts. These new feature are great feature that are time savers and enable a quicker workflow!

“How do you make an offer on Facebook to bring in new clients?”

 Kim recently asked her Facebook followers, what questions they wanted answered about Facebook sales strategies. A great question from Courtney P., how asked “How do you make offer on Facebook to bring in new clients?” Courtney’s husband is the owner of Paradise Landscaping and Hardscaping 

First thing about this strategy:

  • You don’t want to start with the offer
  • Post content of the owner as the authority and expert.
  • First you want to create warm traffic
  • Post pictures of your professional service  (In this case landscaping work)
  • Do not post content of tips,  Because that is the service you provide and your industry
  • When and if you have a customer, feature them and begin to using that content, or do Q&As. 

In your Ads Manager,  snag a universal pixel code to use on your website. This will allow you to setup a custom audience on your web page.  You are going to setup a website custom audience, to track anybody who visits your website.  Why? This will enable to your re-target those who have seen your content post or pictures. 

Then, you are to create a new Ad. That is an offer to your qualified traffic.  Those are the warm leads that were enticed by your pictures and visited your site. 

Your offer will have to be a real enticement:

  • Offer a consultation ( But don't call it a consultation!)
  • A service 
  • A gift certificate 
  • Only offer to your warm traffic

If you receive positive comments - you still have to respond to them. Kim suggests, liking the post, thank them for the comment, and give feedback, and encourage more engaging activity.

If you get a negative comment - thank them for the feedback, ask them to private message their contact information. This opens a direct message to resolve issues. Once you are off line discuss a resolution to the problem. Do not delete the comment, useless it is really vulgar. Make your to follow up one social media posts that the problem was resolved.

In this episode, Kim is interviewing the world’s authority on trust base selling, Ari Galpher. Galpher is also the co-author of The No B.S. Guide to Direct Response Social Media Marketing.  Kim ask Galpher, What is the best way to start when you are trying to convert a prospect into a sale?

What Ari strongly suggests:

  • The next step is most likely a phone conversation. 
  • Remain humble, and don’t make assumptions you have a hot lead.
  • Ask “Tell little bit about your situation?” This creates trust between both parties.
  • At the end of your discussion, ask “Where do you think we should go from here?”
  • Ari suggest that conversation, tone and the words you use will determine rather you have successfully converted your prospect.
  • Ari reminds us that we have to begin with trust base language(ing).

  1. There should be tracking and measurement. -  Kim states that there should not be any marketing, selling, advertisements if is no accurate tracking on investments or accountability. Each dollar sent out should come back with more and or meet predetermined objectives. 
  2. There will be follow-up.  - Often Kennedy finds more holes in the bucket, then you actually have bucket. This is not having any real genius follow-up with your prospects and no capturing of your prospect’s contact information, or offer.
  3. Results Rule - In short, only result matter!

Kennedy shares that there are a few direct response marketing rules to follow, and you should commit to them and reap the long term benefits you desire. These actionable principles will allow you to build up a long lasting business foundation. Kennedy strongly suggests that these foundational principles must be practiced, managed and enforced. 

  1. There will always be an offer. - The sales is king! Without it, there is no market share and there would be no kingdom to rule over. Your social media need an offer and telling your ideal prospects exactly what to do and why they need to do it, right now! It should be irhesisitalbe, time sensitive, and give some sort of transformative value if the take immediate action. 
  2. There will be a reason to respond right now!  - People are almost persuaded, so there must not be a good to stop short, delay or ponder.  These must be urgency! You want to make sure to always include urgency in your Facebook marketing.
